President's Message

Welcome to the 2010 St. George Area Parade of Homes. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of this event presented by the Southern Utah Home Builders Association and Zions Bank. We extend our appreciation to all those associated with this show. I would like to express a special thanks to our many volunteers, organizers and sponsors that bring such an enjoyable event to Southern Utah.

The Southern Utah Home Builders Association (SUHBA) provides services, networking opportunities, and government representation for builders, developers, trade contractors, suppliers, and many others that comprise the HOME BUILDERS in our area. This year’s PARADE brings together, in a most excellent display of creativity, cooperation, artistry, and hard work, those homes that are representative of the home building industry. As you tour each entry, you will see remarkable ideas that have been dreamed, drawn, discussed, pondered, and built by incredible people.

I am proud to be associated with the great members of the HOME BUILDERS in our area. The Parade’s many participants have undertaken the challenging task to ensure this PARADE would occur even in a year when many have said there wouldn’t be any homes to display. They have created presentations for us to enjoy. Some of us may be lucky enough to own one of these beautiful homes; or, we may be able to find that talented builder to help us with our dream home; we may be able to use some of the ideas in our current homes; and if none of the above, we can relax and bask in the tour of these masterpieces of construction.

Southern Utah will always be a premier place to live in the entire world. The climate, the colors, and the people make it a wonderful place to call home. We hope you will be pleased with this year’s PARADE. We thank you for coming and helping us celebrate our 20th Anniversary year and to make the 2010 PARADE the best year ever.
